Outline of the days

We run our tours from Wednesday to Monday, on your arrival you can either arrange your own rental car for your duration, or we can arrange airport transfer for you directly. The village house(The Old Olive) is as secluded as they come, so when it’s time to relax you’ll be doing just that!

Cedar Valley cottage is located in the historic village of Panagia, we try to use both locations for our tours depending on the time of year/weather.

Our rides start on the Thursday and complete on the Sunday, you will then have Monday morning to yourself to chill, checkout is 11h00.

The riding!

This is hard enduro, however, we won’t push the group past their ability. We keep our tours to between 4 and 8 people, we find this allows for more ride time as a group. This allows your trail guide the ability to help riders through the tough parts where needed. We have a few super difficult climbs, last one up buys the beers! We try not to tone down the rides, we prefer to help our riders along where needed so we can complete the tracks. We have many different tracks, from sea level in the Akamas to the top of the Troodos range. The first day of riding is the tamest day albeit challenging, and gives our guide a good idea of the tracks we can conquer on the subsequent days. Each day is progressively more difficult than the last….sorry!

The bikes

Fully guarded up and running moose. We try keep the setups as standard as possible, and we can make minor adjustments for you before your arrival.

Kit

We supply kit where needed, we prefer you bring your own but it’s not necessary, we use standard knee guards, not braces, a plastic chest protector, standard gloves, goggles, boots, pants, shirt and trippers. Each rider receives a spare set of levers, first aid kit and toolkit for the duration of their tour.

Food

On ride days breakfast is served before departing and as part of each ride day, there will be a lunch stop at a local taverna for traditional Cypriot food. Dinner will be provided if the group wishes, or the option is to eat out and visit the local taverns.

Activities

There are quite a few activities in the area with great hiking trails. One of Paphos’ great tourist spots, The Rock of Aphrodite, is a mere 15 minute drive from the house, on return of each riding day we will stop at any given beach for a quick swim depending on the time of year and weather.
